Connect Instagram from workspace connection settings using Instagram's OAuth authorization flow. The connection is for professional Instagram accounts: Business and Creator accounts are supported. A personal account may not provide the account type needed for the connection.

What the connection supports

Terano AI uses the connection to identify the account, read available profile and published-video information, and support analysis. It can also support publishing when you initiate a publishing action from the workspace. You remain responsible for reviewing and starting the post; Terano AI does not publish content without that action.

Permissions requested

Terano AI requests these Instagram scopes:

• instagram_business_basic to identify the professional account and read basic profile and media information.
• instagram_business_manage_insights to access the insights needed for account and content analysis.
• instagram_business_content_publish to publish content only after you explicitly request publishing in Terano AI.

The content publishing permission requires a fresh consent for connections that were created without it. Reconnect the account if publishing is unavailable because that scope is missing.

Disconnect and revoke

Disconnect the account in Terano AI when you no longer want the workspace to access it. The disconnect flow deletes the Instagram permissions for the connection. You can also manage access from Instagram or Meta account controls.
