Anything Terano AI generates or analyses for you costs tokens: dealing an idea deck, writing or revising a script, analysing a video, labelling your map, a copilot conversation. Every one of those is recorded so you can see what you paid for.
Two buckets
Tokens come in two kinds, and which one an action draws on is decided by the action itself.
- Normal covers reading your library and quick transforms: idea forecasts, script segments, post drafts. It refills every five hours.
- Premium covers the expensive work: analysing your catalogue in depth, full scripts, monetization work. It refills weekly.
Settings → Usage shows a meter for each: how much of the current window you have used and how long until it resets. They change colour as you approach the end of a window, and offer an upgrade when you reach it.
Seeing where it went
Under the meters, Usage lists your spend by day, and then event by event: when it happened, what it was for in plain language, which bucket it came from, how many tokens it cost, and which person and creator it was on behalf of. You can export the whole thing as a CSV.
If you have permission to see the whole account's usage rather than just your own, a toggle at the top switches between the two.
Terano AI shows what proportion of your allowance you have used rather than the raw ceiling.
Plans
There are five plans (Free, Hobby, Pro, Studio and Organization) and they differ on four things:
- How large your token allowance is, as a multiple of the Free allowance.
- How many creators you can run from the account. On the largest plan this is unlimited.
- Collaboration: whether you can bring people in at all, and whether they get distinct roles.
- Governance: single sign-on, approvals, pooled budget and chargeback, consolidated invoicing, audit export and instant offboarding, on the top two plans.

Running past your allowance
Auto Recharge decides what happens when a bucket runs out. With it on, work carries on as paid overage and your card is charged to settle the balance. With it off, or with no card on file, actions stop at the allowance instead. You can set a monthly cap on what auto recharge is allowed to spend.
Settings → Billing holds your plan, your payment cards, auto recharge, your cost history and your invoices. The Billing tab is only shown to people allowed to see billing for the account; if it is not there, ask whoever administers the account.
