Terano AI can be installed from the browser, so it opens from your home screen like any other app instead of from a tab.

Installing

While the app is installable and not yet installed, an install card appears in the app. What it offers depends on your browser.

• Where the browser lets us open its own dialog, the card has an Add button. Tap it and confirm.
• On an iPhone or iPad, in any browser: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. No iOS browser offers an install dialog, so this is the route on all of them.
• On Android, when no dialog is available: open the browser menu and choose Install app.

Your account menu also carries Add to home screen when the browser dialog can be opened.

Dismissing the card hides it for half an hour rather than permanently, so it comes back if you were only clearing it out of the way. Once you have installed, it stops appearing.

On a desktop browser with no install dialog, nothing is offered: the install control differs too much between browsers to give one reliable instruction.

Working offline

Most of Terano AI needs a connection: it is reading your platform data, your calendar and your library from the server. A page you have not opened on that device before will say it is not available offline.

Two things do keep working:

• Editing a script. Changes are queued on the device and sent when you are back online.
• Capturing a new idea. A title typed offline is queued the same way and lands in your idea bank once you reconnect.

A queued edit shows a Pending sync badge until it goes through.

When someone else edited it first

If a script changed on the server while your edit was queued, Terano AI does not overwrite either version. Your offline draft is kept and marked, and opening it shows both side by side (what is on the server, and what you wrote) so you can restore yours or discard it.
