Article 1 (User Information Acquired and Acquisition Method)

The Operator acquires the following information from Users in providing the Service:

Information Provided Directly by Users

• Name, email address, telephone number, and other information entered in inquiry, consultation, career, or account forms
• Messages, prompts, and related content submitted through the AI Guide or other interactive features

Information Acquired Automatically in Connection with Use of the Service

• Cookie information
• IP address
• Access logs (pages viewed, date/time of use, usage environment, etc.)
• Device information (OS, browser type, device-specific IDs, etc.)

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

The Operator uses acquired User information within the scope of the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To operate the AI Guide and related interactive features.
• To respond to inquiries, consultations, requests, and career applications from Users.
• To notify Users of changes to the Terms of Service, this Policy, and other notices.
• To analyze usage of the Service, create statistical data, and conduct marketing research.
• To ensure security of the Service and prevent or investigate fraudulent use.
• To connect or provide User information to partner services (such as language schools or Student Housing Japan) when the User expressly requests such connection.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Operator will not provide acquired personal information to third parties (including those outside Japan) without the User's prior consent, except as permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other laws. This does not apply in the following cases:

When User information is provided to a partner service because the User uses a feature that expressly requests introduction, referral, or handoff to that partner.

• When required by law.
• When necessary to protect life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult.
• When particularly necessary for public health or sound growth of children and obtaining consent is difficult.
• When necessary to cooperate with government authorities in executing legally prescribed affairs and obtaining consent is likely to impede execution.
• When User information is provided to analytics, authentication, hosting, or other subcontractors necessary to operate the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Article 4 (Disclaimer Regarding Third-Party Handling)

When User information is provided to a partner or other third party at the User's request or through a linked service, that information comes under the control of the third party. We assume no responsibility for the third party's handling of personal information.

Before providing information to a partner service, Users should review that service's privacy policy and proceed at their own judgment and responsibility.

Article 5 (Security Management Measures)

The Operator implements necessary and appropriate organizational, human, physical, and technical security management measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information. For details, contact the inquiry desk in Article 9.

Article 6 (Use of Cookies, etc.)

This site uses Cookies and similar technologies to improve convenience, analyze usage, and enhance the Service.

We may use Google Analytics, PostHog, or other analytics tools. These tools may collect usage information via Cookies; collected data is managed according to each provider's privacy policy.

Users can disable Cookies in browser settings, but some Service features may become unavailable.

Article 7 (Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc.)

When a User (or legitimate agent) requests disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information held by the Operator under the APPI, we will respond without undue delay after verifying identity, except where we have no legal obligation to do so.

Article 8 (Changes to this Policy)

The Operator may revise this Policy as necessary due to legal amendments, changes in business content, or otherwise.

When changed, Users will be notified by posting on this site or other appropriate means.

The revised Policy takes effect when posted. Continued use after posting constitutes agreement to the revision.
