Notifications live in one place: your account row in the navigation. Open it and the shelf sits at the top, newest first, with a few pinned and the rest behind a "more" entry.

The account row itself carries the badge. A round count means there is something informational waiting. A squared warning mark means something needs you to do a thing, and it replaces the count, because "needs action" is not a bigger version of "for your information".

Things that need action

These stay until the underlying situation is fixed. You cannot dismiss them, deliberately: they are not messages, they are outstanding work.

  • Posts need confirming. Terano AI found posts on your connected channels it could not confidently place, some missing from your pipeline, some looking like duplicates. See Publishing.
  • A platform disconnected. Everything depending on it (your audience, performance numbers, revenue) is frozen at its last reading until you reconnect. You can reconnect straight from the notification.
  • Your card was declined. Paid features are paused until a payment goes through.
  • An unrecognised sign-in. Review it, and change your password if it was not you.
  • Your public contact email needs re-verifying. Your profile still works; only the email reveal is paused until someone on your team verifies the address again.
  • Tell us what you want to make. Terano AI has nothing to build ideas from yet: no posts it can read and nothing written on your profile.

Informational notifications

These you can dismiss once you have seen them.

  • A new comment on one of your videos.
  • A similar creator has finished analysing and is ready to pin to your benchmarks.
  • Your trial is ending soon.
  • Your subscription needs attention.

Opening one

Selecting a row opens it in full: what happened, why it matters, and the one thing to do about it: a button that takes you to the comment, the billing page, the reconnect flow, or wherever the fix lives.

History

The shelf keeps informational notifications for a month. Older ones are removed.

Announcements

From time to time a banner appears at the top of the app with something we need to tell everyone. Where an announcement can be dismissed it carries a close button, and dismissing it is remembered; the next one takes its place.

Email

Terano AI emails you for the things that have to reach you outside the app: verification codes when you sign up or change your login details, invitations to work on a creator, and security notifications about your account.
